Cat

Question Posted Saturday May 8 2010, 1:34 pm

Whenever I approach my cat she looks up at me and stretches out one of her paws until I start petting her. Almost as she is reaching out to me, Why does she do this?

probably because she wants more affection from you. if you have only had her for a little while she probably wants to get to know you.

:)...she is telling you with her movements that she wants you to pet her...touch her. I had a cat that would tell me to CONTINUE petting her...by reaching out and tapping me with her paw when I stopped. She was saying, "Please don't stop....I want more!"

Cats can be so expressive without words!!! What a lucky cat owner you are!!!
