sims 2.. do i have enough space to put on another game? :)

Question Posted Saturday May 8 2010, 1:06 pm

ok, so i'm kind of obsessed with sims 2, and i already have a lot of expansion packs, but i want to buy one more, but i'm unsure about the amount of space i have available.

when i click on computer, & it shows my space.. this is what it says..

compaq (C:)
185 GB free of 286 GB

Factory Image (D:)
1.59 GB free of 11.2 GB

For my sims games under system requirements it says:
OS - Windows Vista, XP, ME, 2000, or 98 SE (i have windows vista.

CPU - 1.3 GHz or faster (2.0 GHz for Windows Vista)

RAM - 512 MB (1 GB required for Windows Vista)

Disc Drive - 8x or faster CD/DVD drive

Hard Drive - at least 1.5 GB of free space

video - directX 9.0c compatible video card

sound - directX 9.0c compatible sound card

.. ok no idea what any of that means. :) so i hope i gave enough information.. thanks!

Hi there,

Yes, you have plenty of space.

185 GB free of 286 GB... and the game requirements say you need 1.5GB

Example:

You need 1.5 dollars.

You have 185 dollars.

Do you have enough? Yep! :-)

Happy Simming.

I'm going to be honest, I have no clue what that all means either. lol
The looks of it, it looks like you might have enough space.
Go delete your cookies, and unnecessary things off your computer you don't need. That'll free some space up. If you don't have enough space while downloading sims, it'll simply let you know. :)
