I'm 5'6" and weigh 120 lbs. I'm really happy with my body, except for my love handles. I've been starting to run for 20 minutes everyday but what other ways can I burn the fat on my love handles?
Thanks!

I have the same problem..as do many of us girls!
okay well love handles are trickyy ones.
running or fat burning exercise doesn't seem to work.
What you need to do is toning exercises..such as sit ups waist twists..ab machines at the gym if youve acess also.
yoga is also a great way too there are some great exercises on the wii fit believe it or not if you have that too. it tells you exactly what each exercise will do to your body :)
I hope this helps..you should ask a fitness trainer at your local gym if they have any usefull tips :)
Btw love handles are actually pretty sexy :) keep that in mind guys like girls with curves as grossed out as we seem to get over them!
Anyway best of luck
much <3

Katlyn answered Thursday April 15 2010, 6:32 pm: dieting helps as well and you dont have to do a crazy one just cut out sugary and fatty foods for a month and that itself will make a huge difference and drink lots of water especially when you get cravings it cuts the craving and fills you up and instead of eating every 3-4 hours like doctors tell you just eat when your hungry which i know a lot of people will say thats bad but its not it will help you lose weight because your not eating when you dont have to and running for 20mins is good but try doing power yoga or get a cheap eliptical bike or go to your local gym and go up to 100 calories on that and that will for sure have you seeing results in the first month. Trust me i have been doing this and i have already lost 20 pounds. [ Katlyn's advice column | Ask Katlyn A Question ]
