I know the south beach diet is targeted for diabetics, but is it also healthy for nondiabetics? (I am a 5 ft 1, 155 lb female. I need to lose weight and this seems like the best diet.)
Katlyn answered Wednesday April 14 2010, 3:44 pm: Honestly this diet doesnt work i have tried all these celebrity inspired diets and nothing works its all just a big lie i mean you could drop like a pound or two but you will eventually gain it back plus a few extra pounds so i think the best way to lose weight is to exercise even if its for like 15 minutes everyday thats still a lot and just build up your time every week and then along side that just diet a little cut back on sugary foods and drinks and just have oily and fatty foods one or twice a week and you should start to lose weight but remember the exercise has to make you sweat for example get an elliptical bike and burn about 60-100 calories a day and at the end of the month with your diet you should lose about 5-10 pounds. Good luck :D [ Katlyn's advice column | Ask Katlyn A Question ]
