God resides with good in Heaven, while evil resides in hell, the bottomless pit, under the watchful eye of the Devil; Satan. Hell is a nightmare to those who are not saved, but those who are saved will be off to Heaven, and should have no fear of this place, as you will not be going there. In Revelations, it tells us that there are sort of levels of evil (some even more evil than others in hell) and kind of takes a tour.
Smartone answered Monday April 12 2010, 9:01 pm: In my opinion, hell is the complete separation from God. God is active in our world and our lives while we are alive on earth, whether we want Him to be or not, but once we're dead and have rejected Him, then our desire to be apart from Him is fulfilled and we are separated from Him for eternity and placed with those who have done the same, including fallen angels.
To be separated from God is to have no hope. No hope of rescue, relief, peace, love happiness. Just death. Hell is absence of God and it is eternal. [ Smartone's advice column | Ask Smartone A Question ]

I believe
"God forgives his children thou bad deeds done shall rest with a soul"
(Those who kill, rape, etc. are forgiven but rest with the soul instead of moving onto heaven"
