Why is my friend ignore me when we're hanging out with his friends?
I am a 20 year old guy, and well I am having friendship trouble. My best friend had to go back to Europe and then his brother came instead. So it's different than the way it was with my best friend. But what upsets me the most is that my best friends brother says that we're friends and he emphasizes it a lot, but he acts contrary to that. He never talks to me, there is some tension and when he invites me to hang out with him and his friends, the conversation revolves around them and he doesn't include me and I feel like a third wheel. I really want to have a genuine friendship with my best friends brother. What can I do?

well does your best friends brother want a genuine friendship with you, or does he just feel obligated because since his best friend left, he feels like he has to fill the position? why exactly do you want a friendship so badly with someone who treats you like a third wheel? if it's bothering you that much and you really want to be friends with this guy let him know everything that you told me. see if he actually wants to be friends with you. its not worth trying to make a friendship better when the other person doesn' even want it.
