Period/Masturbating
is it weird that i have masturbated? i havent started my period at all yet and i was wondering if it had anything to do with masturbating!??!?!??! HELP PLZZZ!!!!!! Can masturbation keep you from starting? ASAP help!!

I'm 13 years old and I've masturbated countless times. Countless. I haven't started my period yet either :( although I shouldn't be sad because everyone at my school complains about it. I was googling online to see if masturbating prevents you getting your period- most things said no. So I'm guessing no. It's not weird that you've masturbated, and you can know for sure that at least one other girl in the world (me) masturbates as well. I always feel guilty, but then I don't. I'm just preparing myself for when I WILL have sex, and bring another person into the world.
This may sound weird, but it's the only way to reassure myself that masturbating is not a disgusting thing. I'm not 100% sure if masturbating affects your period, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't, but I'm just writing here to reasuure you that you're not alone.

noo, its not weird that you have masturbated hahaa, a lot of girls do it, they just wont admit it. youre normal and completely fine :] and alot of girls experiment with masturbating even BEFORE getting their period, like you. hormones have a lot to do with this .. so youll be feeling all different kinds of emotions right now. urges to masturbate and all of that.
and no, dont worry. masturbating doesnt effect your period AT ALL what-so-ever. it can relieve back aches and cramping though :] you'll start whenever your body decides to whether or not you masturbate. so dont worry about it, youre normal and good to go.

It's not weird at all to masturbate before getting your period. It's a healthy way to self-explore! I started well before hitting puberty, and got mine at 13 years old, so you're fine.
Masturbating will not delay or induce your period. The only way it has an effect, really, is that once you've started your period orgasming can really help to relieve cramping (yay!). So feel free to keep doing it.
I took the liberty of checking out your previous questions, and it sounds like you may be starting very soon. In fact, you may be having your first one now! It sounds a lot like my first... not enough to be quite sure, but it's there.

No it realy can't stop you from starting so your just fine. You proble just start in a cupple of days or weeks cause most people start around the ages 12-14 so don't worry I'm sure you would get it soon friend

no it is perfectly normal to play with yourself. its a part of life!! i dont think it can affect it but it always is a slight possibility.. just be carefull on what you stick up there!!!
