I absolutely love the way eyeliner looks but my problem is.. my eyes are REALLY small so I wondering how I can use eyeliner to make them seem bigger? And what color eye shadow too?
DearAbby92 answered Monday March 29 2010, 4:30 pm: I agree with some of what the person below me said, except for liner on the lower lid. I find that liner there makes my eyes seem smaller. Do a cat eye to enlongate the look of your eye.[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Using an eye lash curler can give your eyes a more wide open effect that can make them seem bigger. Metallic on the inner corner (tear duct) or a white translucent power works great. I saw on an interview with a make up artist that he puts blue eye liner on the water line of the lower lashes so it isn't very noticeable but the blue makes the whites of your eyes appear brighter, therefore giving you a more open, awake look.
Play around with eye shadow colors and see what you like best. Doing all dark usually makes the lids look smaller, so use dark colors sparingly. Browns look great with blue eyes, berry colors like plum look great with brown eyes, and greens and light purples look good with green eyes.

-Eyeliner on the lower lid only so it doesn't make your eyes look smaller.
-Mascara to enhance the lashes which make your eyes look bigger.
I use a Rimmel.London. 4 pack of shadow that are all kind of goldish earthy colors.
Start with a gold and do the whole lid up to the brow bone but just so it shimmers, not so its like..BAM GOLD. ya know? Then lightly brush some silver at the inner corner, then beige over the lid, and a brown at the crease.
