Hi Guys
Me & my Boyfriend have been dating for a few weeks now & at first we used to text eachother quite a lot, not LOTS but y'know. Now when I text him he replies like 4 hours later. I Mean im not acting all crazy like what is he doing, who is he with etc, I Understand he could be doing things, but its jus that he didnt take this long to reply before so I think hes purposely replying to me late on. By This time I dont have much time to talk, Its Late etc. Do Guys just do this???

SecretDreamer95 answered Friday March 5 2010, 12:52 am: it's hard on a relationship when the communication is based on texting/msning/emailing/and other button related devices. it's rarely now to find couples speaking face to face which makes things a lot easier. if feel that he is being untrustworthy and you have to question 'where is he?' 'who is he with' then it seems that you both are not spending a lot of time together. sometimes guys do just ignore text messages due to playing video games or chatting with their buddies outside somewhere.. just ask him if you two go could out to a dinner nad a movie or something get talking in person see where you both stand and what not..it'll be worth it..:) good luck [ SecretDreamer95's advice column | Ask SecretDreamer95 A Question ]
sunshine1232 answered Thursday March 4 2010, 8:24 pm: Yes some guys do it communication is key to having a
good relationship without it the relationship won't get very far i think you should sit your boyfriend down & confront him about the fact that he takes long to respond back to you i don't think he'd purposely reply late that'd be mean to do especially
since your his girlfriend he could be busy doing other things your best option is to confront him &
hopefully he'll give you a good enough answer(: [ sunshine1232's advice column | Ask sunshine1232 A Question ]
DearSusie answered Thursday March 4 2010, 4:44 pm: Yes, this happens in relationships. The puppy love, exhilaration and the chase have had their fun times. Now you two need to communicate well and in person, establish what type of things make you confident with your relationship, and what kind of things make you worry. You should both have a couple of things that are on your pet peeve list, so go about this with the intention of stepping outside the box to hear it and not take it personally. Then go make out somewhere and reinforce your affection for one another.
Life is all about these little commnication sessions and staying in good standing with one another. Did this help?
