Anger mangement I need quick ways to cool off during a fight

Before it gets to the moment where there is steam out of your ears. WALK AWAY! Just excuse yourself or say you need a minute.
It will totally eliminate the fighting part and give you some time to collect your thoughts.

you ever go absolutely batshit psychotic with an assault rifle? I have. feb 23 2008. so trust me when I tell you this, when you're angry, you breathe a lot less, your heart's pounding, and your higher functions are starting to shut down in your brain as your whole body goes into combat mode. the best way I found to prevent anything like what I did that day from happening again, is to start firing those higher thought neurons, and take a deep breath hold for two seconds, and slowly exhale, and keep doing it. this rushes much needed oxygen into your rage addled brain. it allows you to think more clearly. when you stop seeing red, start thinking about the awful consequences if you'd gone through what your adrenaline filled head was planning on doing. trust me. its been two years, two days, and seventeen hours. don't make the mistake I did, I have to live with what I did. for the rest of my life.

FOR ONE THING STOP FIGHTING. You little boys that fight all the time. you need some good old fashion butt whipping. and i mean that to come from your parents. fighten is not the answer to anything it gets you now here at all but into more trouble than you are already in. next time some one wants to fight you tell them no way. ]
