in need of perfect songs
I am 23. I currently asked out the girl I really liked, she's 17. There is a major age difference, but although she's 17 she acts mature. Anyways, people don't approve of our relationship. They tell her that all I want to do is sleep with her when that's not the case. I really do care about her. I'm not that type of guy that does that. I am a really good guy. I'm a nurse studying to be a doctor, I will be going to Japan to work at hospitals over there for a month, I go to church, I have morals, I don't drink or smoke. I think I am a good catch.
I want to make my girlfriend a mixtape. What are some good songs I can use to show her that I love her no matter what people think?
And if you can help with my problem, what can I do to show the people (her family, friends, etc) that I'm with her because I want to make her happy and I don't want to sleep with her.

I can't help you choose songs, because I don't know you nor her, and I think that the songs you choose should be on a personal level. Are there any songs that when you hear them, you think of her? If so, then there you go.
As for the friends and family, this isn't about them. The only person who you show why you are with her is HER. If all you want to do is make her happy, then focus on doing just that.
They will see in time what you're about. If you go out of your way to try to prove them wrong, you'll only make them more suspicious of you, anyway.

Well first of all, You're a great guy. and As long as she knows that, and you know that, theres nothing you can do to change peoples minds. But actions speak a lot louder than words. Just give her your respect and make sure to always tell her that you love her. and If you want to prove to them that you don't want to sleep with her, DON'T. Just prove them wrong and treat her with kindness. They'll come around.
