It is illegal to get any genital piercings under the age of 18, regardless of parental consent.

Let me tell you now that you DO NOT want to get pierced by ANYWHERE that is willing to pierce you without ID.

This is one area of the body you do not want to mess around with. A botched job could cause you no end of problems - infection, scarring, loss of sensitivity to name but a few.

Wait until you are 18 and go to a reputable place.

All legit places are going to require ID. Especially with that type of piercing. They will not risk being charged with sexual assault.

Do not allow it to be done by anyone who isn't legit. You don't want a botched job and/or infection in that area.

Any legit piercing parlor will require proof of age or parental consent. Besides, you will probably have to be 18 anyway to get any kind of genital piercing.

I got my belly button pierced when I was fourteen, and I had to go to the DMV and get proof of identification. I had my mom with me when I went too. More than likely you won't be able to get this done until you are 18 or older.

The way I look at it, if you want it bad enough, you will still want it when you are 18.

Most places will require an ID for proof of age and if you are under age it will also require a parent to sign. There are places out there that probably don't require ID or signing but the chances of that they probably don't have sterilized needles and this is where you need to be careful. Many people who chance piercings without going to a professional end up with complications such as puncture vain, Infections and unsterilized needles can lead to STD and god knows what else.
