My boyfriend likes it when I call him Daddy! Is it weird?!
Question Posted Wednesday February 17 2010, 5:04 am
So, I've been dating my boyfriend for a year and a 8 months now and we have been having sex for the past 4 months. One night I was playing around with him and called him, "Daddy." The next thing I know it was leading to sexual play and, of course, we ended up having sex. It really surprised me because he didn't tell me anything about wanting to be called Daddy. He never brought it up himself since then either.
I've called him Daddy a few more times since then to see his reaction and it really seems to get him going good. I know that I hear songs where girls are calling their man "Daddy" and "Papi" so I'm not freaked out by it anything. It's actually made me curious if this is really common or something!
He's a REALLY good guy and I don't have any reason to believe this is any more than some simple role playing. Should I talk to him more about this or leave it be? I mean, if it's a common interest for men then there's no reason why I should ask possibly-embarrassing questions, right?
Has anyone else encountered this or is "into" this sort of thing and can shed some light onto it? Is it an odd practice that we should discuss and let die off?
I want our relationship to be strong and fulfilling in all ways so I'm just wanting to know if this is something I should inquire more about, I suppose...

Making him feel like he's the boss or that he's in control in the bedroom is all he wants. I'm sure he's loving every moment of you calling him daddy.
