20/f. It me and my boyfriends 1 year anniversary coming up next week, he has recently moved away to another state but we still talk everyday blah blah.. you know the rest. Anyway I am flying to see him and we are staying at a nice hotel together and we are going to dinner etc. but i really want to buy him somthing nice for our anniversary, does anyone have any ideas on what i could buy him? (We are both 20.)
this is my opinion though, its more special if its made. not bought. So you can make him something like take a jar and make 365 notes (like 365 days in 1 year) and on each note, write a memory of you 2. Or you could bake him a cake or brownies. you can make him a blanket or pillow. perhaps a quilt of some fabric that he likes? maybe even take pictures of you guys and somehow transfer them onto fabric and stitch them onto the blanket? You could make a collage of images, make a painting for him, buy a painting. maybe if he plays a sport, find an autograph of his sports idol. or have them sign something. you could buy him some concert tickets. You could make him a mix CD of your guys' favorite songs. You could be cheesy and buy him a teddy bear. you could be sexy and buy him something naughty. you could surprise him by taking him out dancing. or star gazing. or have a bonfire.
my point is, it doesnt have to be something you buy. it could be something made, or something you do.
just be creative and if you have an idea (but dont exactly know what to do) just go along with it. its like art. you can't plan what you're going to do. just start doing something and eventually it will look like a masterpiece.
