Move out of home - Legally- AUSTRALIA
Female / 15 / nsw, AUSTRALIA!!!
Ok, when I'm 16 can I legally move out?
And is that with or without my parent's consent?
Like, I want to move out, but my parents wont let me and I have a family with a house whom is more than willing to take me in... I just want to know when I can legally do this?

i live in new zealand and the legal age to move out is 16 with or without parents consent.i think youd have similar laws over there.
just make sure you are making the right decision.talk to them first about it in a reasonable way try to make them understand first before jjust walking out.before you move out makew sure you have a long term plan first.

I moved out when i was 16. My mum didnt really care though. She didnt do anything to stop me. You need to really think about it. Once you're out you may never be able to go back. And being independant at such a young age is VERY HARD!!
Talk to your parents. There may be a compromise you guys can come up with.
