how you know when u need tounsels pulled?
I am having soreness and swelling in my throat and I really need to know how you know when u need tounsels pulled since it isn't getting better and it has been weekz!

You need to go to the doctor and be checked for strep throat.
They won't remove your tonsils unless you have chronic sore throats. Then a parent will usually have to request they remove them.

i was 14 when i DEMANDED to get mine out. i kept going back and fourth to the doctor for as long as i can remember..they kept telling me its a virus and they kept giving me pills..one day when i went i said no it's not a virus and i want them out! i am not putting up with this anymore.. they made an appointment and i got them out like a month after. you have to demand things otherwise you wont get what you want and you will always feel sick. taking so many pills is unhealthy so if i were you i would tell the doctor that you feel yu need to get themn out and you want to see someone about it asap!

Go to a doctor ASAP!
You may have strep throat, which can get a lot worse if it's left untreated.
Only a doctor can tell you what is wrong with you and what steps need to be taken to fix it.

go to your doctor and they will decide whether you need to have them taken out...sounds to me like you do and they more than likely will refer you to have them out...people only have their tonsils out when they are prone to infections like tonsilitis and sufer quite bad with it x
