So I am scheduled to get my next birth control shot on Friday. I was also planning on going to a party later that night. I was wondering if alcohol has any effects with the depo provera birth control shot?? Thanks

yes there is always side affects when you mixing drugs and alcohol together. never never mix those things together. take care of your body. read the bottles of the pamplets that they give you with your meds and it will tell you.

A friend of mine was on the depo shot and drank she naver said anything about side effects or anything.

I was on the Depo shot for 2 years. I can surely say that if you drink alcohol you may experience some severe muscle aching. Everyone is different but mine lasted a good day or so and it was awful.
