You're always going to have that feeling for them but it might not be as strong as before. I realized in certain relationships there were things that I didn't notice while being in them. Maybe there was something about the guy that was something that strained the relationship or maybe something was lacking. Whatever it was towards the end of each relationship I realized I could do better and be with someone better. And although there are no prince charmings among us I have to believe there is someone out there for me and when it happens it happens. I still care for the people I've dated whether I talk to them or not...but they weren't the right ones and in time the right one will come. It takes time but it will happen. Good luck and Happy Holidays!

Its never easy getting over someone you loved or love but I think the best thing to do is to distance yourself from the person and maybe try to find a new boyfriend or girlfriend.

It would take awhile. But get out there and get your mind off then. Finding someone else would help most. Don't try to force yourself onto someone else, or else you'd just end up jumping back to the old person. So just go naturally with it and you might find someone else. Go out with friends to get your mind off the person and slowly it will fade. Good luck!

What always works for me is moving onto another person. This person and you dont have to have a future but it will help you get your mind off of the previous one.

i'm going through this right now actually. it's hard but what you need to do is surrond yourself in friends. go out all the time and have fun. don't mope around the house, try and always be out doing something. start a new hobby that you think you might like. change your room around. call up people that you haven't spoken to in awhile. its hard i know but what's meant to be will happen.
