Question Posted Thursday December 24 2009, 9:34 pm
My myspace makes me enter people's emails when I try to add them. I know that they have it set differently to where I don't have to write down their last names or emails but for some reason every time I try and add anyone it says I need their email.
This happened to me once before also.
Does anyone know why, or what I can do to change it?

These particular people may have set it this way, so only people they know can add them.
According to Advicenators, you are 14.. so if your MySpace age is set to 14, this could also be why, for your own safety. So if it's set to 14 and it bothers you that much, change it and see if it helps. Check all your other privacy settings whilst you're there, too.
angie248 answered Friday December 25 2009, 2:33 am: its a profile safety setting that she/he has set.. so random strangers cant try to add her/him with that feature the friend requests she gets are from people she knows just message her and ask her to add you if you dont know her email..also it depends how old you are..sometimes if you are over 18 they probably have their myspace set up so people over 18 need to know they e-mail..but just ask them!! hope i helped :] [ angie248's advice column | Ask angie248 A Question ]
