college gifts for friend
So instead of getting normal gifts for each other for the holidays, my best friend and I have decided to make each other posters for our dorm rooms next year at college. I used red poster board and cut it into a heart to start with. It's not terribly big, so should I make the photos smaller and just print them instead of getting them developed? I want to put a lot of stuff on it and my printer can make smaller quality prints. I don't know what else to add though? I was thinking of cutting out sayings from magazines. I also wanted to get her a couple of side gifts that pertain to college. I was going to buy a pair of flip flops and write 'shower shoes' on them haha. What else could I make for her that would be useful in college? Thanks. - 17/f

Everything sounds great for the poster. For the side gifts, consider making a gift basket. The flipflops are a great idea. Try some small snacks (popcorn, chips, candies) for late night study sessions, Burt's Bees lip balm, hand salve, etc, fleece blanket, you get the idea.
