SATs So I haven't taken the SATs because i'm going to community college after high school, but eventually i think i might want to transfer. I was under the impression that if your transferring out of community college to a university, you don't need SAT scores? I just need some clarification, thanks.

It depends on which uni you want to transfer to. For some of the more selective schools, you will need SAT (or ACT) and possible some SAT II's. For most schools, however, the only thing that matters for transfer students are your grades in your current college. Good luck! ]
Well, I live in California and after I transferred from a community college I did not need any sort of SAT or ACT score. Ask an advisor... ]
Dear 17/f,
It really depends on where the university will be located once you want to transfer. If I remember correctly, SATs are required for applying into out-of-state schools, ACTs are for in-state. To confirm though, I'd call your academic advisor just in case.
Hope this helps! ]
