Wear my heart on my sleeve means what exactly?

Question Posted Wednesday November 18 2009, 12:19 am

Someone told me that I wore my heart on my sleeve and I just stood there nodding like I knew what she meant by it but I really have no idea.

Can you enlighten me a bit? Thank you
