How long does weed stay in your system for the first time?
Question Posted Tuesday November 17 2009, 11:52 pm
I know I know..... STUPID ME! I smoked pot ONCE and now it could cost me everything. :( How long does weed stay in your system when you use it for the first time? Or does that matter? Don't worry I will never do it again. Please help?
In infrequent users, the half-life of marijuana is 1.3 days. That means it takes 1.3 days for the amount of marijuana in the blood or urine to go down 50 percent.
For infrequent users, the time from the last reported drug use until the last positive specimen was five to 12 days. Frequent users took 22 to 27 days to clear their systems. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

But if u drink 32 ounces of water a day you should be fine.if u do end up taking a drug test only put the last bit of pee in the cup. If asked what you eat, answer with a lot of fast food, cheese burgers and such naturally have thc. I know its hard but try not to worry. [ ozzyross's advice column | Ask ozzyross A Question ]

It's the long term users that take about 1-2 months to get out. Also, it depends on your body fat. THC is stored in fat cells and the more you have, the longer it takes for them to disappear. But they can test for THC in your hair, which stays in longer. [ hotpotato's advice column | Ask hotpotato A Question ]
