when i shave "down there" my skin gets really irratated and gets red and bumpy. Im afraid my boyfriend is going to be grossed out if we have sex and he sees the bumps, but i also dont want to be hairy.. does anyone know why this happens, or what can prevent it from happening? thanks alot! :]
AshNicole...x3 answered Wednesday October 7 2009, 11:58 pm: Hmm, if I were you I would make sure the razor is new and sharp. Definitely use a lot of shaving cream and don't shave against the way the hair is growing. If you still continue to get razor burn, I would go to your local rite aid/cvs and buy razor burn cream..I'm not to sure how much it cost but it only should be from $4 to $10 at the most. Hope I helped :) good luck! [ AshNicole...x3's advice column | Ask AshNicole...x3 A Question ]
gweedsx3 answered Wednesday October 7 2009, 11:41 pm: Hey. i used to ahve the same problem. but i learned how to cure it! but then i got annoyed with having to shave every day to keep it smooth, so i just started waxing, thats a different story though ahha. When i used to shave, i would put on a LOT of shaving cream, and use a relatively new blade. I would never use a completely new one, bc you can cut yourself, but dont use an old one. I shaved once with the direction of hair, once aginst it, and then again with it. Then, when id get out, id use powdered deorderant every day. It made the bumps stop, and eventually go away! it takes like 2 week to get them to go away though. I hope i helped! inbox me if you have other questions
Hey, i tried waxing at home...it didnt work too well because i had a lot of red bumps after but it could have just been because it was my first time. I would use wax strips if youre going to try at home, not as much of a mess, you know? And it took me around a half hour to do. Hope i helped! [ gweedsx3's advice column | Ask gweedsx3 A Question ]
