thhooouuuugh I don't think this is a romantic thing or anything, so it is a slightly different approach...
anyway today we had free time in class and our teacher is awesome so we can sleep till the bell if that happens, and so I was napping a bit and I wake up because someone burped real loud beside me, and I find this boy I've been talking to a little bit for a while watching me with this really sincere grin and so I smile a bit and say, "Hey.. I'm kinda sleepy, haha."
His eyes crinkle up with more smileyness and he says "Yeah, I know. I was..." and then he gets dragged into a conversation with someone else.
Now, some romantic girls may say "Ooohh, how sweet he likes you and thought you were cute sleeping~" but no, I don't think so. He does look at me sometimes, and if I'm talking to another guy he tends to take notice and gets in the middle of it (discretely, though I know he does this on purpose because any time I'm talking with a girl he never pays any attention) and he'll tease me, but the thing is he's a flirt as it is. He's always picking fights with girls to see their reactions and stuff.
so yeah, the main question here is--
......seriously, is a sleeping girl that freakin' funny?
I know I'm not ugly, even though I'm not a beauty queen, I don't snore (according to every family member who has shared a room/bed with me), I don't talk in my sleep, according once again to the family...
so what the heck was so funny or cute or whatever it was that made him smile?

In depth answer: like the previous advice given to you, he may only be 13 or 14 and still a bit immature. Girls mature faster than guys, it's a proven fact haha. From the way I see it, he was wither laughing at the burp or he was laughing at what you said. Sometimes, guys laugh or smile because they want to draw you in and flirt with you. or he could have been laughing at the way you just woke up and was like, "hey.. i was kinda sleepy, haha." if you laugh, he's going to laugh too because he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable. He wasn't trying to be a jerk about it, if that's what you're thinking. He probably just thought it was cute by the way you just looked at him and everything. all guys have different likes and dislikes ... just liek you may think something is cute or funny, but some other person may not.
Just don't read into it so much and keep flirting ir talking to him if you want to get to know him and are interested in that. if not, just let it go. good luck ! have funn :] and if you need anything else, feel free to inbox me ! xxo. Just blow it off and keep flirting with him(if you like him). If something was by some chance funny while you were sleeping then he will or probly already forgot so no worries!!!

I presume he is 14yrs he may still be 13yrs, He is just a cheeky teen with a lot of growing up to do. I think his burp amused himself. He will grow out of it hey he may even be date-able in a few yrs. Sit tight see what else transpires from him.
My story There was a guy in my English
class of 76 Larry Fuller is his name, he had the deepest blue eyes I have seen on anyone they were like the ocean. Anyway, he would sit right opposite me but facing me. He would Ask WHAT WOOM WE IN WOUISE.
He was pretty obnoxious yearh! I just ignored him he caught me on bad day, I stood up & told him to "leave me alone". he did after that. Sit tight for now.Good luck [ Daintree's advice column | Ask Daintree A Question ]
