So my boyfriend and i had sex for the first time last night. i've heard that girls are supposed to bleed the first time...i mean, it hurt, and he was in all the way, but i didn't bleed. is it normal for some girls not to bleed? or like, next time we do it, will i bleed? just curious.

Even if you do bleed, it's not very much at all, so you might not have noticed even if you did. Don't worry if you didn't, though. It doesn't make you weird. Here's the deal; the bleeding is what happens when a chick has her hymen busted, some girls who are active(ie: horseback riding, bicycling, running) break their hymen by just doing random activities. its perfectly normal to not bleed just as it is to bleed. its pretty funny, because back in the day, the mother in law would bring out the bloody sheets after the marriage was consumated for all to see. sometimes they had to think fast, like chicken's blood to cover up for the non-bleeders.
