Biceps curls will work. If they are not showing results now that is either because 1. you are not eating enough calories to gain weight or 2. you are not training heavy enough... or both.

First of all the human body needs a calorie surplus to put on weight. This is of course not an encouragement to eat a lot of crap, you should still eat healthy. But you need more calories than you burn in a day.

Second is the issue of rep range. If the weight you are using is light enough that you can do more than 10 reps per set, then it is too light. It will not be ideal for muscle growth. Try train with a weight where your reps naturally fall in the range of 8- 10, i.e. where you are 1 or 2 reps away from failure when you stop each set.

Next, incorporate triceps exercises as well. They not only help make your arms look better/ bigger, but it is always good to train opposing muscle groups.

Here is a video on how to perform a DB triceps extension:

So try doing 3 or 4 sets of 8- 10 reps 3 times per week (for both exercises) with at least one rest day between. Say Mon, Wed, Fri. Have a meal about 2 hours before training and take a protein shake right after training. Remember a daily calorie surplus.

As the person below said, training the whole body is always better for you than focusing on just a few muscle groups. However, this stuff will work if done right.

Good luck.

i used to be skinny as hell too. but now im fit and have the body that i want.

one of the most important things is confidence. never give up. it may take a year to get the body you want. maybe even two years.

bicep curls are always good at building muscle. but if you are only focusing on making your arms bigger, than thats bad. you have to work your WHOLE body.

when you are about to work out. drink a protein shake. then wait EXACTLY an hour before you go to the gym. because if you go right away, your body didnt have time to digest the protein, so you will get tired very easily.

after you waited an hour, do you normal biceps exercises, but hey. dont overdo it. work out in a nice smooth motion. then do carido.
