diet change

Question Posted Tuesday September 8 2009, 6:01 am

Ok, so if I used to eat lots of junk food and all the wrong types of foods and had no kind of exercise in my life, and then i all of a sudden stopped that, and started eating right and exercised everyday, could that possibly bring about frequent headaches? Like from the sudden change in diet and exercise? and if so, after how long should that happen?

I have to side with blwinteler. But there could be many explanations, if it keeps up consult a doctor. The amazing thing about our bodies is that they can be put thru alot and survive. A headache is a common warning sign that something is wrong; Dehydrated, Over-training, Tired etc. It could be alot of things but keep up the good work and post more!

Yes, definitely. Any change to diet and exercise has potential to cause headaches. Your body is wondering where all the sugar and such went. It can last up to a couple weeks. Keep up the healthy habits and it will go away. You will even feel better than before.
If you tend to get the headaches right after exercise, you may be overexerting. You could also get dehydrated. Make sure you drink a lot of water. That will help.

i think the reason you probably get headaches is because you might be working yourself too hard while excercising and your not getting enough food into your system i mean the sudden change in your diet might have a lil bit of changes like minor headaches here adn there and minor aches adn pains here an there but after a while your body will start to get used to it and you wont be having headaches or anything of the sort. give or take it should only last no more than a week 2 weeks at the least.
