Wishing and hoping are a visualisation technique very useful tool to atracting what you desire. I had dreams & visions and with them I followed a path of my life I still dream on and visulaise all these years later. It's the right path, keep on dreaming go after your desires in a good way. If you have to do a wrong to achieve your idea of right then it's wrong. but give the Magic thing the flick it is not godly and it an unrealalistic direction I mean where will it take you anywhere honestly. you make your beliefs work your way for the good of all. You got to make decisions that allow you to sleep with your conscience to be content with your thoughts.

I suggest that you look into "the law of attraction". It is basically a concept saying that anyone can have what ever they desire, as long as they believe. There is more to the concept and I think you may find it very beneficial to do a little research on it, and if you are still interested, there is and book and a dvd that you may or may not have heard of called "The Secret"... And also a book called "The Law of Attraction". But if you google the law of attraction you'll likely find some insight and information that may convince you that this "magical thinking" may not just be some silly thing that you should leave alone.

It goes into describing how "thoughts become things", or how when you entertain thoughts with strong emotion attatched to it, it actually emits energy out into the universe and manifests into reality under the proper conditions. Whenever you are happy, you are manifesting good things to come into your experience, and when you are sad you are atually attracting more of the same negative energy to yourself. Like if your day starts off bad and you think to yourself this is just a bad day for you, and things continue to go wrong.. it's because you are in a negative state of mind and you are attracting more of the like. And vice versa..

This philosophy is derived from sources; And I have adopted it into my own beliefs.

Well, "bad" is a very subjective term. Personally, I think its bad whenever anyone allows themselves to get seriously out of touch with reality.

If there was some evidence that magic existed I would say great, good for you. But considering that no supernatural phenomenon has ever come close to being proven, this kind of stuff becomes wishful thinking.

There is nothing wrong with a bit of wishful thinking mind you, but I think its bad if it starts to become your reality.

So, be careful and be critical. Keep in mind that when the human brain wants to believe something, almost any nonsense can be made to fit the theory. I am not saying that you do this, but it is very common for us as a species.

Good luck.
