Girlfriend is having mood swings, wondering if it could be pregnancy.

Question Posted Tuesday September 1 2009, 9:44 am

So, my girlfriend and I are in a long distance relationship, and saw each other for the first time in a long time this weekend. We had sex, and usually I am very stern about wearing a condom, but we didn't have one, and we were both being stupid. Obviously I pulled out, but I know that is still not a great idea. This was this weekend (saturday night, sunday morning) and now it is monday, and we got into a fight. She said she is feeling all hormonal, and freaking out. I am trying to calm her down and tell her that its too early to be feeling anything due to pregnancy. Also, she is supposed to be getting her period soon, so it could be that as well. Either way, I just need reassurance for myself.

please wear a condom for now on. me and my boyfriend used to do the whole 'pull out' trick... and guess what. IM PREGNANT lol.

but anyways, shes just freakin out. when someone gets worried that they are pregnant their body and mind tricks them into thinkin they are. she might even get her period late just because shes worryin about it! its waaaay too early. but if it goes to 3-4 weeks after her missed period, then start to worry.

you most likely have nothin to worry about :)

It has only been three days, If she is exspecting her period in a few days more than likely that is why she is moody as most woman tend to have mood swings around that time. It's perfectly normal

I also found this on Wiki..

How Soon Pregnancy Symptoms Start
The onset and degree of pregnancy symptoms will vary within women. Many women experience them within days of conception, others take a few weeks before pregnancy symptoms kick in and a lucky few feel no discomfort at all. The early pregnancy symptoms listed on this page generally can be felt once implantation occurs (8-10 days from ovulation) and will lessen after the first trimester.

Way to early to tell, Wait and see if she gets her period. She also may want to wait 2 weeks before taking a test for an effective answer. However, Like I said it's probably just mood swings due to an exspected period.

it has only been three days since then i don't think anything is going to happen, i think she is just a little nervous that she might be pregnant. but just to make sure i would get a pregnancy test for her and see what it says. she might be pregnant or she might just be afraid that she will end up pregnant.

i wouldn't worry especially if you do want children. but i wouldn't worry though she may just be a little omg because she thinks she isn't going to get her period but i would get the test just to make sure that she is okay. what you need to do is keep her calm because if you get made things will get even worse.

good luck hoped i helped you
