I'm only sophomore and in the future, i hope to become an entertainment lawyer. Can anyone in this field of work tell me what i should be expecting to get into if i decide to continue along this career path and can you tell me the things i might have to do that will help me get a head start in this career?

First you'll need to get a bachelor's degree. I would advise staying away from pre-law so you don't burn out. I have an undergrad in writing, which allowed me to enjoy my undergrad years and provide me with a solid foundation for my career as writing and communicating are key. Second, you need to get through law school and pass the bar. This is the basic foundation for getting the paper you need to practice. As for that specific field, it's all about connections. Network, job shadow, fight to get internships at firms and/or organizations where you will get to work in that area of the law. You will need to be aggressive, ambitious and fight your way to the top. If you want it bad enough, you can make it happen. [ hasyhoo's advice column | Ask hasyhoo A Question ]
