i've been trying to gain weight because honestly i think i look too skinny but i cant! no matter what i try, it doesn't work.
anyways i love to run! i love going running, it takes my mind off everything. but i'm a little concerned. will running cause me to lose weight and become even more skinny?
what exactly will running do for my body? will it help me gain muscle anywhere? does it help your heart? i dont know!
If you want to gain weight..eat more calories than you are burning (when you run). But, don't be unhealthy in order to gain weight.
Like the person below me said, it's good for your heart of course!
But running put's stress on the body. And, it will most likely, over time, give you muscle in your legs, calves, thighs, etc. Which isn't bad. But, just be careful and don't run too much.

Yes, it does help your heart. It's really good to get your heart working hard, and running does just that.
