It was on both feet, to fix my flat feet. They took a chip out of my hip, stuck it in my foot, stretched my foot and stretched my lower leg. Now, ever since I've had the surgery, when I walk & run, my thighs turn red & burn
Other than that, I think the best option for you is to go an visit your doctor, because if this is something more serious than just a side effect he/she will tell you what is wrong and what is needed to be done.

put some ice on it if it hurts.
it could be normal.
just get it checked.
