are tampons suppose to hurt alot when you take them out? i use tampax pearl and i used a light one and i took it out after like 5 or 6 hours and it hurt to get out. it did have blood on it but how do you know when you're positive its fully absorbed?
KraziKookie28 answered Friday July 24 2009, 6:23 pm: They can hurt sometimes because you don't always put it in right and that is normal. It's very normal if it hurts a little bit. If hurts a lot of hurts every time then something is wrong. Hope this helps! [ KraziKookie28's advice column | Ask KraziKookie28 A Question ]

I'd say to leave it in longer but definitely not more than 6 or 7 hours. If it has been that long and it still hurts, maybe try a smaller tampon.
