Will my cat be okay without water for more than a day?

Question Posted Sunday July 19 2009, 8:44 pm

I forgot to feed my cat before I left today. Will he be fine without water for a day and a half? I'm at my Dad's house and I can't get back home for a day and a half. I got here and then suddenly remembered that I didn't water my kitty cat. Will he be okay or should I tell my dad that I NEED to go back home right now?

If you keep a spare key at a neighbour's or hidden outside your house somewhere, is there any way you can contact someone to feed your cat for you?

If not, a day or so shouldn't hurt it too much. Just make sure you feed/water it as soon as you get in and try not to do it again.

Is there a way you can contact your mother & have her give water to your cat? If she can do that for you, then that'd be cool.

If not, just tell your dad you need to go back home to give your cat water. I'm sure he'll understand. :)

He should be fine, but it's probably best if you tell you dad you need to go home to give him water. It's worth it to just do it, you know?

He should understand.
