Gyno.

Question Posted Tuesday July 7 2009, 9:15 pm

So when you go visit a gyno and get checked out, and he finds something out, for example, you having a disease or something ? Do they tell your parents ? Or do they keep it a secret ?

Thanks in Advance !

If you don't want them to tell anyone, they won't as long as you tell them that. Everything you talk about with them is completely between you and them, unless said otherwise.

They have to keep it between you and them, unless you say otherwise.

They have to abide by doctor/patient confidentiality, which means the things you are seen for, your illnesses, your treatments, your prescribed meds, etc., are all kept confidential.
