I have sideburns and lip hair and am growing black hair on the side of my face.
it scares me ...
my lip hair is prickly but ive never shaved my face before.
why is it doing this ?
how come every girl i know doesnt have it
and i dont want to shave every day and have a prickly face
that's disgusting!
what do i do!?!
i can notice it in my bathroom mirror
and i feel angry/depressed/shocked
because this is exactly what i never wanted to have.
EXACTLY.
Don't shave any part of your face. I have experience with it and it's a drag waiting for your hair to grow back. Unfortunately, I was 'blessed' with the gene that causes me to grow hair out very quickly. I have to shave every day otherwise I end up with stubble. It's unsightly, but it's just what I have to deal with. You're not alone. [ Sima's advice column | Ask Sima A Question ]

You don't have to go to a solon or anything, and for about ten bucks you can get about 2-5 months of use, depending on how often you have to do it. In the mean time...
You can use products like nair or veet. You rub it on, let it sit, and wash it off and it removes the hair. No stubble since it takes it from the root.
Waxing will give you smoother results and it isn't uncommon for women to wax their faces, especially the upper lip area. At every salon I've been to they have facial waxing.
If this is a problem you have to live with, you can consider laser hair removal. It's expensive but is permanent.
