Should I send this to him?

Question Posted Thursday June 18 2009, 3:26 pm

Hi, I wanted to tell this guy ..Joey how much I felt for him. We went threw a lot together and I just wanted to let him know how much I loved him...but we have a good friendship and everything..but he's just starting to like this other girl..and I want him to know..that he should pick me. So, here's what I wrote:

Joey, this is really hard for me to say so please just listen. I've always liked you..since 6th grade...but I never told you that. So, 7th grade year I was so happy to have been your girl friend...(even though you dumped me for Taylor) when you did..it hurt me bad, it brought back feelings from the last guy I fell for. Since I trust you..his name is..Matt Beal. :/ He's a 9th grader and he's a real jurk. I'd advise you to never be his friend.. he's real backstabbing. I trusted him, and I should have never did.He was that guy you seen in the hallway the last day of school. I wanted you to beat him up?? That was him. I know you like Reagon but I wanted you to know this. I bet Reagon does like you.. who wouldn't. :) I just don't think she likes you as much as I do.Please don't be mad at me for telling you all of this but it's what I thought I needed to do. I really care for you Joey. I hope this won't hurt our friendship?? I just want you to know.. I still love you.. I never stopped.

Love,

Emily :)

Should I send this to him...please help me out?

Guys get kind of turned off and stuff when girls send them dramatic letters like that. I know it's sweet and everything, but it's really not the way to win him over. He'll just be like, why couldn't you tell me in person? Better yet...why can't you just SHOW him. Like flirt with him or something. It's up to you but I wouldn't send the letter.

Aww, that's really sweet. I don't know this guy. But sometimes it scares some guys off if you say, "I love you" I think "like" would be a better word for it instead. It just depends on the guy. Sounds like you guys are close. Its a really cute and sweet note though. Good luck! I hope everything works out good!

Hi there... I think your letter is ok, however it should only be about your feelings for him. Try not to involve anyone else.

Perhaps edit it to something like...

Joey, this it really hard for me to say so please just hear me out. Your my best friend and I have always looked up to you.

7th Grade was the best time of my life, when I was your girlfriend. I have liked you for an extremely long time and I will always continue to do so.

My liking for you over the years has grown into love for you. I trust you with all my heart and I would like for nothing more but for you to be feeling the same.

If you do not wish to feel the same way I do then I will respect your desicion and hope that we can remain best of friends. I just feel time is running out as we are getting older and the longer I wait to tell you my feelings the longer i'm only hurting myself.

Please reply to me, I will wait for you.

Love always

Emily XOXOX

There.. Hope I helped. I envy you for having the guts to do this. I hope everything works out for the best.

its really good, but i don't know the ending to me, some guys may get freaked out about that, is he the type that would? the part that says.. i love you.. i never stopped. maybe you should change it too like, i really like you & i always have. if you guys are really good friends, then this note will be a lot to take in. but besides that, its good! good luck! :)
