I'm losing my voice! I'm in a play that opens next Tuesday and I think I'm losing my voice. I need a quick fix that works before my director finds out (and freaks out). She's been under a lot of stress lately and I dont want to add to her stress so I need help fast.
What is the best (and quickest) way to get my voice back?

Drink a lot of water.
Eat a tablespoon of honey every few hours- it coats your throat and it feels amazing.
That's really all the advice I have.

make a hot green tea with lemon and honey in it. garglin vinegar or salt water helps as well. try not to talk a lot, scream, or smoke (if you do). dont drink milk or anythin else thick because that can increase the mucus in your throat which will make it sound worse. my chorus director told me all this when my throat was goin before a recital, and it worked!
good luck with your play! :)

I remember in a couple months ago I lost my voice and I had a leading role
These worked for me
Putting paracemtol in water - gurgle half of it and drink half of it
Hot water with Honey and Lemon Juice - It saved my life
If you can, go to a chemist or doctor and ask for the strongest cough, throat syrup you can find
Good Luck :)
PS - Dont sing if you're losing your voice, It can really damage your vocal chords
