if so i was thinking of getting one
-i wanted to know if you can have internet on ur desktop and laptop too if you get a wireless router

theymos answered Saturday June 6 2009, 1:09 am: A wireless router will allow you to transmit your Internet connection wirelessly, to any number of computers. Your laptop and desktop will both share your Internet connection, and they can access the Internet simultaneously. You must already have an Internet connection for a wireless router to work; it does not replace your Internet service provider.
You can buy a wireless router from any computer store or website. You are not required to buy it from your ISP, though they might offer them. They cost about $40-80.
