Ghost or Polterguiest?
Ok, so I have been having some stressful days ever since 7th grade. I am in 10 next school year. I have built up this negative energy in my room and now whenever i go in there, i get this stressful feeling. One time when i went to bed when everyone else was at the bowling alley, I saw a boy around 17 black hair blue eyes staring at me. He had this look of anger, depression, and stress on his face. After i rubbed my eyes he was gone.
Is it a ghost or a poltergeist?
PS: i heard from TAPS on an episode that a ghost is different from a poltergeist. A poltergeist is human generated for some sort of pshychological need and a ghost is a spirit who either doesnt want to cross over or doesnt know they are dead.
Did i see a poltergeist that I created, or was it a ghost?
I am scared...so answer quickly please!!

Keep in mind it may have been neither. It could have just been your mind playing tricks on you. I tend to do that quite often.
It wasn't a poltergeist though. Poltergeists are just what you said they are. But they do not show up in human forms. They are a mass of negative energy that is strong enough to manipulate actual objects. If it was anything, it was a ghost.
Ghosts come in many different forms. You can have an active haunting or a residual haunting. An active haunting is a deceased person who, like you said, either does not want to cross over or does not realize they are dead. A residual haunting is an imprint of a deceased person's energy that does the same thing over and over again. For example, an old man who loves to play the piano may leave an imprint of his energy that appears as him playing the piano. Make sense?
Ghosts are not neccessarily evil, and they do not want to hurt you. If this ghost can physically manipulate any of your surroundings, and seems like a truly evil spirit, then leave. Tell your mom you are not comfortable staying in there, and then figure out what you are going to do from there.
However if all you see is this boy, and he makes no move to try to communicate with you, do not worry about it. I am sorry you are scared, but try not to be.

To me, it sounds like a ghost, but obviously I'm not a professional on the paranormal.
I've heard poltergeists are pretty active. I'm also pretty sure it means "loud ghost" or something like that in German. I honestly think it's a ghost, but I'm not sure.
You could call a paranormal expert on this & see what they say. Or you can do a little research online. I don't think you should be scared though. Ghosts are usually not harmful, and if all he did is looked at you & you haven't seen him since, I'm pretty sure there isn't much to be afraid of. He could just need help, or he just appeared out of the blue. Who knows why ghosts do the things they do?
Just do a little research online. I'm sure you'll find all the answers you need. And lastly, Ghost Hunters is an awesome show so props for watching it. :)

i think if it looked like a real person and was visible to you then it must be a ghost dont worry its ok he shouldnt b able to hurt u unless he feels threatned by you.try to speak to him just ask him what he wants and not to b afraid.sounds like he could of died tradgically that maybe why he was angry or stressed that he just left the earth without any warning he must have seen how his loved ones are and maybe feeling depressed or this could of been his state before he died. i mean a boy thats 17 wouldnt b a poltergeist because well that just doesnt make sense.
this boy could need your help and if u can see him again make him aware you can see him.
dont worry if he wanted to hurt you he would of done it straight away without showing himself to you i rekon just relax

It sounds like a ghost. But with what you said, he sounds a bit upset. Could he be potentially demonic? I think he wants to cross over but he either is unsure if he wants to or doesn't know how to.
I'd definitely seek a Priest to help the boy out.
I wouldn't be scared at all. I have honestly seen a couple ghosts in my life, and I know what I saw. But usually they will not harm or bother you if you show you're not afraid of them and you're eager to confront them.
