tablets during pregnancy? f/uk
i am going to try and make this quick. but i have been given ' Trimethoprim Tablets' by the doctor. i have taken 1 already. but after i took it i read the leaflet. on the leaflet it says not to take if you are pregnant. thing is i dont quite know if i am pregnant because me and my partner was trying for a baby and i haven't yet taken a test. am i safe to take these tablets do you know? the box only has 6 tablets anyways so i only need to take the 6 tablets overall. if anyone can help me it would be appreciated thanks

The doctor is supposed to ask you when you go in for a check up if there's any chance of pregnancy. If he didn't ask you that, then you should've told him.
I would take a test, see if you're pregnant or not, and give your doctor a call. If you are indeed pregnant, your doctor can give you medicine that is safe to take while pregnant. ]
I would take the pregnacy test first and then take the tablets just to be on the safe side or call the company that makes the tablets and ask them or go to the doctor. ]
