Question Posted Sunday May 17 2009, 11:50 pm

Hey theymos it's me asknava...how are you doing? i have a question for you:

The social network I am on says i can upload mp3 songs. I was told that all songs on iTunes are in mp3 format... yet it is not working...it worked for myspace...so what process do i have to go through after i hit "browse" to find the songs i have in iTunes and upload them making sure they are in mp3 format. Thank you.

All songs bought recently from iTunes are in mp3 format, and are located here:

(Vista) C:usersYourUserNamemusicitunes music

Songs bought more than a few months ago are not in mp3 format, and can't be uploaded. You need to upgrade them to "iTunes Plus" to get them into mp3 format.

Songs that you did not buy from the iTunes Music Store are not guaranteed to be in mp3 format, but can be converted to MP3 here:

If the files are not in the default music location mentioned above, use Windows Search to search your entire computer for them.
