Uploading iTunes songs to social network

Question Posted Sunday May 17 2009, 11:49 pm

The social network I am on says i can upload mp3 songs. I was told that all songs on iTunes are in mp3 format... yet it is not working...it worked for myspace...so what process do i have to go through after i hit "browse" to find the songs i have in iTunes and upload them making sure they are in mp3 format. Thank you.

Alright, well I've been dealing with iTunes and audio formats for years now, and honestly, iTunes does use the mp3 format for their songs.

Just one problem, iTunes protects their songs with DRM. It's like a fancy digital lock.
This is the reason why iTunes also offers iTunes Plus because the Plus versions don't have DRM.

I don't know what to tell you, you could always download the song from online?
Or buy a DRM-free version from the iTunes store.

It's very, very frustrating, trust me, I know.
Which is why I usually buy CDs.

Not sure if that helps, but it's better that you know,
