does anyone ever feel like they dont know what to do or how to feel and you just want to crawl in a dark place somewhere and just sleep? not because youre sad in particular, but because you dont want to deal with anything and anyone... how do u get over feeling that way?
mariahwannabe answered Tuesday May 5 2009, 2:33 pm: For me I like to sleep, go out with the people that make most happy in life, forget about the things that are bothering me like work by saying "SO WHAT"..I have a positive (but sometimes cheeky attitude) where I will think SO WHAT if I dont do my work? I'll get into trouble, maybe a detention but thats it! This reminds me not to worry too much because the concsquences arent bad - we just make them see bigger than they are.
I also find talking about my problems to people closest to me helps me vent of steam, crying also is like a burst and sense of relief it really is. But most importantly I write. Stories, poems, diaries, or letters to people who have annoyed me (obviously I dont send them)..www.allpoetry.com is my escape route. Try there..and also listen to music,a defiante cure.

The best thing to do is to get out there, be as happy as you can and try to hang out with your friends i know that it doesnt sound fun at all but it will cheer you up a little and help you realize that life isnt as bad as you think it is. Exercise worked for me too. When i get mad or sad i exercise to help me and it really does help. Hope i helped =] [ Sami143's advice column | Ask Sami143 A Question ]
LetMeKnow answered Monday May 4 2009, 10:40 pm: The best way to get through times like these is to just push through them. Make a list of all the things you need to "deal with" then order them by importance. Try to start with the most important thing on your list. If you're having trouble, try something mid way down to get you into the groove. Try to avoid the temptation to just sit around and do nothing. Try not to let yourself get distracted by frivolous things but let your efforts to be productive distract you from feeling down. The best thing for you to do is to keep busy. And listen to happy music. This may all sound a bit disjointed so just remember this; we all feel down sometimes and it is important to acknowledge these feelings. Try to figure out if there really is a reason behind it but if you can't come up with one, keep busy. If nothing else, you may find that you have accomplished something (even something as fixing a bookshelf or organizing some papers) which may cheer you up, which may motivate you to accomplish something else, which will start an upbeat and productive cycle. I wish you all the best! [ LetMeKnow's advice column | Ask LetMeKnow A Question ]
