i dated this guy for almost 9 months. he ended it with me last saturday and i was completely devestated. he said that he doesn't have that "spark" anymore but he still loves me "more than a friend but enough to be in a relationship with" and he wants to hang out alot over the summer and still be really close friends and he said that fate will take it from there and if its meant to be blahblah...so my question is do feelings really change like that? and can i do anything this summer to help get them back? like maybe take him to the place we first hung out? idk help pleasee.
Additional info, added Friday May 1 2009, 5:29 pm: i meant to say "more than a friend but not enough to be in a relationship with". Want to answer more questions in the Relationships category? If fate brings you guys back together then you guys are ment to be . Just let time take it . I understand that you want to be with him but just take a break he'll come back soon dont worry

As you get to know a person that "spark" just goes away. Like the new car smell. LOL. You still love the car, but you get used to it. Bad analogy I suppose, but there it is.
Just be yourself when hanging out. As he said if its meant to be it will be. He will mature. When he does he will realize how wrong he is.
