coconutcatastrophe answered Friday April 10 2009, 1:11 pm: no you shouldn't, that usually means you're brushing way to hard or have a small case of gingivitis (gum disease) but don't freak out if you do, i had it and it's easy curable. theres usually no pain or anything your gums just bleed when you brush/floss. the only thing i had to do to get rid of it was floss more often (everyday) so try that if you don't already. If so, then whoever you heard this from is really wrong. Your gums should never bleed from brushing your teeth, & if they do, you're obviously brushing too hard, or you could have a form of gum disease. It is not good for your gums to bleed period, especially when doing something that's supposed to help your gums & teeth. [ Trauma's advice column | Ask Trauma A Question ]
