Well, there will be blood( a red or brown) ..in your undies..there's not usually a lot. Make , sure if you do start at a school..if you don't have a pad .. just use toilet paper until you can get one.
You can probably get one at the office. They will probably let you call your mom..if you start at school...well you didn't ask all about this ...but I thought it wouldn't hurt to tell you!!

You'll bleed. Your first period is usually really light so just have sanitary napkins ready for if it starts. Usually schools nurses will have them avaliable if you don't.

Well, you'll bleed, but that's kinda obvious. I had a friend who got sick right before her first period, so that might also be a sign, but not all girls get sick with a period. You may get cramps, too, but the most obvious sign would be bleeding. Trust me, you'll know, too.
