my cousin died a few years ago and i wanna get a tattoo for him. i'm a girl and i want it on my upper back, like my shoulder blade .. and i want it to be small but how small can they make it? i want a cross with his name and maybe some dates but i dont want it too big .. any ideas? i just dont want it to be big
If you're asking a cross with lettering/numbers, they're gonna have to do it kind of big. Not completely huge, not tiny either because again, the lettering will smudge & blotch together & it'll look bad.
I think your best bet is to talk to a tattoo artist because they're really the ones who can help you better than us here. We're not the professionals, they are, so they're the ones you need to get into contact with.
Also, make sure you go somewhere clean. If they open nothing in front of you & don't explain the process or the aftercare, leave. Places like are potentionally dirty & you don't wanna be tattooed there. If it helps, try googling the top 10 best parlors in your city. Or if you have friends/family with tattoos, ask some of them because they'll know who's good & who isn't. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]

For instance if he liked to play the guitar, get a guitar or a music note. Something really simple and understated. It doesnt have to have a name on it or writing. And when people ask about it, it will give you something good to talk about. Sometimes the best way of honoring someone's memory is talking about it to perfect strangers and friends [ TimothyDanger's advice column | Ask TimothyDanger A Question ]
