Question Posted Saturday March 14 2009, 4:27 am

I have been married to my husband for 10 years. On Mon March 9 he toppeled an entertainment center on me. He was thrown in jail, I got a protection order. I really need to talk to him. I feel like I've died inside, we have always been able to work things out. My health isnt good and its getting 200% worse with this crap. I cant live without him, he is my soul mate and the other half of me. How can I get to him to talk? If he dont want me anymore how do I live?

Don't go back to him or talk to him. If you talk to him that will make you want him more, and you will be in a position where he will say he "loves you," but he will only say that to get you back. Like the other person said he did it once, he will do it again. It could get worse and you could end up in worse health, emotionally and physically.

I understand how hard it is. I was in an abusive relationship (not really physical, but other ways), & I know how hard it can be to let them go when you love them so much. However, your health should be the number 1 thing in your life. And if he's hurt you before, then he'll more than most likely do it again. But you can live without him, even though it may not seem that way to you. It'll hurt, but in the end, you'll be a lot better because you don't have to worry about him hurting you.
